Nigeria’s U-17 side, the Golden Eaglets, will begin preparations for the 2023 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations early next year.
The competition will be staged in Algeria from April 8 to April 30.
The Golden Eaglets were last in action in June when they defeated Burkina Faso 2-1 in the final of the WAFU B Championship.
The Flying Eagles started preparations for the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations last week, but Trumpeta Sports Desk learnt the Eaglets camp will kick-start their camping exercise in 2023.
Twelve teams will compete for honours at the 2023 AFCON.
The top four teams in the competition will represent Africa at the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup.
The competition will be held in Peru from November 10 to December 2, 2023.
