..Honoured With Gift By Imo Chapter
The President of the Sports Writers’ Association of Nigeria, SWAN and Permanent Secretary, Rivers State Scholarship Board(RSSB), Sir Honour Sirawoo, has added another academic feather to his cap.
Sirawoo successfully acquired PhD in Mass Communication discipline.
The seasoned journalist was at the convocation ceremony on Saturday at the Imo State University, Owerri.
Sirawoo whose 2nd tenure as President of SWAN is winding up has initiated myriads of programmes and policies that have helped to redefine the Association into an enviable professional organization, the world over.
The dynamic and hard working SWAN leader was also honoured with a gift by the Executive and members of SWAN Imo State Chapter who also in solidarity move joined many SWAN members who tripped into Owerri to celebrate with their leader.
