Scouts from leading clubs from different parts of the world are reportedly descending to Egypt this weekend for the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.
The competition will run from February 19 to March 11.
The Flying Eagles and 11 other countries will lock horns in the biennial competition.
The 2023 U-20 AFCON will also serve as the qualifiers for the FIFA U-20 World Cup to be staged in Indonesia later in the year.
According to CAF, they have been inundated by an unprecedented high number of applications from scouts and clubs who are looking for accreditation to the event.
“The interest from scouts and international audiences is truly amazing,” CAF General Secretary, Veron Mosengo-Omba said.
