NNAMDI KANU AGAIN, REFUSES TO ENTER DEFENCE, INSISTS NO CASE AGAINST HIM
During the resumed hearing of the case Federal Government of Nigeria instituted against Nnamdi Kalu, the pro Biafra agent Nnamdi Kalu has refused to enter defence, insisting there is no case against him.
It would be recalled that in the last hearing of the case before it was adjourned, in the absence of lawyers to defend him, he opted to defend himself in court.
But when the matter resumed yesterday, Nnamdi Kalu was quoted to have said “My Lord, I have gone through my case file and realised there is no charge against me.
“There is no law in this country upon which the prosecution can predicate the charges against me. If there’s any, let my Lord read it out to me.
“My Lord, is there any? Is there?
I will not enter any defence in a charge that does not exist under any law in Nigeria.
The charge here, does not exist and I urge you to either release or grant me bail.”
Online reports Trumpeta monitored quoted that a shocked Judge, asked him to put it into writing, resulting to adjourned dates (4th, 5th and 6th of November 2025).
Nnamdi Kalu has been in detention for terrorism charges preferred against him by the Federal Government.
