AS DEACONESS AUDREY OKEHI GOES HOME

Friends, Associates and well-wishers of Deacon Dan Okehi, an Insurance guru, will literally relocate to Umueze Orogwe in Owerri West on 14th November, 2025, to commiserate with him as he commits the remains of his darling wife, Deaconess Audrey Adaure Okehi( Nee Nlekwuwa) to mother earth.
According to Deacon Okehi, the remains of his darling deceased wife will be interred at the Okehi family compound by 10am after a funeral service at Community Secondary School, Orogwe.
Late Deaconess Adaure in all her busy schedule while on earth, monitored the academic wellbeing of her children. Uchechi, the first daughter, graduated with distinction in Electrical Engineering from Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada.
Tochukwu, the second daughter, earned first class degree in Accounting from Manchester University, United Kingdom. Ugochi, the third daughter, graduated with distinction in Computer Engineering from Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada.
The two sons, Daniel and David are also making waves in their academic career and in no distant time they will be there for excellence is in their DNA.
In 1987, Adaure became born again at the The Redeem Evangelical Mission(TREM), as an ordained Deaconess she touched lives through her service and compassion.
In all, Audrey was a woman clothed in strength and honour whose life was a testimony of faith, love, diligence and devotion.
Lamenting the early exit of his wife at 68, Deacon Okehi described her as an industrious, wise, resourceful and virtuous woman who is capable and far more precious than rubies.
Late Deaconess Audrey is survived by the husband, five children and two grand children.
