ENYIOMA MBAISE: THEY ARE PILLORYING YOUR GUYS IN MBAISE OVER THE ABA BRANCH TO OKPALA JUNCTION ROAD.

My dear Governor:

I write with respect and urgency. When I had the honour of my life to serve in your first term as your Commissioner for Homeland Security, the one project I advocated for, outside the mandates of my ministry, was the rehabilitation of the very important road that stretches from Aba Branch in Mbano to Okpala Junction in Ngor Okpala.

That road meanders through Ahiazu LGA, Ezinihite LGA, and Aboh Mbaise LGA. For those of us from the glorious Mbaise Nation, that road is perhaps the most important road for our constituents – your constituents.

In the past three years or so, Your Excellency kept reassuring us that the road will be done. I believe you, and I am confident that it will get done by your government.

However, Your Excellency, the wait is becoming a monumental problem for your followers and supporters in Mbaise. We are getting pilloried, and justifiably so, for not being able to get this one very important thing for our people from your government. We have lost our loquacious presence on several social media platforms because we have run out of explanations.

Each time I drive through that road, not only do I weep at the site of the debilitation, I hide my face a bit from our people who just can’t understand why such an important road is taking so long to get reconstructed.

Your Excellency, sir, we see your magic on several roads in the state. We applaud the historic feat. We just ask that you extend that feat to the Aba Branch to Okpala Junction road.

Yours in the 3R Shared Prosperity Government,

Ugorji Okechukwu Ugorji

Nwaejiamatu Aboh Mbaise.

Regent, Lorji Nwekeukwu Autonomous Community, Aboh Mbaise LGA.
