SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT TO ALL STUDENTS OF IMSU AND THEIR PARENTS/GUARDIANS
This is to inform all students of Imo State University (IMSU), Owerri, and their parents/guardians that the 2025/2026 second‑semester examinations, which commenced on Monday, 10 August 2026, are ongoing as scheduled.
Any student who absents himself or herself from examinations, or who refuses to return to campus because of false rumours claiming that there are no academic activities, does so at his or her own risk. Such students will be held responsible for any consequences in accordance with the University’s regulations.
Students are advised to:
- Take their examinations seriously.
- Report promptly for all scheduled papers, and
- Avoid any form of examination malpractice.
The University Management assures all students and their parents/guardians that safety and the integrity of the examination process are being protected.
Management remains committed to maintaining a fair, orderly, and secure environment for every student.
