Newly appointed Sole Administrator of Owerri Municipal Council, Mazi Paschal Ujah, yesterday resumed duties amidst a tumultuous crowd of Owerri people.
Speaking to staff of the council, Mazi Ujah, promised to work with them, soliciting for their support and co -operation. He called on the staff to be diligent to work and contribute significantly to the Rescue Mission Agenda of the present administration. He thanked Governor Okorocha for giving him the opportunity to serve in the Rescue Administration.
Speaking at the event, ISOPADEC board member, Chief Gibson Achonwa Njemanze (Oyiga) said he was at the council to express his solidarity with the new SOLAD. He called on the staffers to work for the development and progress of the municipality.
Among those who witnessed the event include the SA on Chieftaincy Affairs, Nze Ben Osuji, member representing Owerri municipality, Hon Victor Mere, APGA Owerri Municipal Chairman, Chief Okorie, Hon John Ucheoma, etc.
