Hoodlums, whose main objectives are yet to be deciphered has made away with a Toyota Camry vehicle belonging to the Editor-in-Chief of Trumpeta Newspaper, Mr Henry Ekpe.
According to information available to this Newspaper, this incident took place days after the top Journalist received calls from anonymous callers who promised to keep his life “miserable”, until you redress your step from what your Newspaper has been publishing”.
The vehicle said to be driven by the wife was trailed to the Relief Market, Owerri last Saturday at about 1pm where the criminals monitored her movement, and singled out the vehicle among the midst of legions of other cars and vanished till date.
The “theft” has been reported to the police, who said they have sprang into action to unravel how the vehicle was “stolen”.
The vehicle is a Black Toyota Camry with Engine No: 5S7106779, Chassis No: 4TIBG22K7 Vuoo1883. The plate number is DE847FST.
