Veteran nollywood actor Tom Njemanze who was spotted last Sunday by weekend extravaganza at the Concorde hotel during the official unavailing of the delegates who were to represent Nigeria at the United Nations beauty pageant in Cancun Mexico, told us that he is still acting and not yet retired.
He further explained that his reason for not acting was due to the kind of script which may not accommodate an actor of his type and hoped that when scripts that requires his services comes, producers will surely call for his services.
He recalled the federal government commitments in supporting the entertainment industry to grow like others top entertainment industry in the world, and pointed out the challenges been faced by actors and movie producers as locations, as sometimes they are not welcome to shoot in a particular community by their indigenes.
He advised young and up coming acts to be hard working as nothing good comes easy, and encouraged younger once in the movie industry to expand their horizon.
