Hurray! Veteran and class actor Olu Jacobs turned 70 today July 11th. After the so many illustrious years of dedicated patronage and service to the industry, it’s worth celebrating every milestone Olu attains.
Not only has he helped define the Nollywood landscape, Olu Jacobs set the trend for quality dialogues, excellent diction, and extemporal eloquence which was second to none.
Besides what stands him out is the limited number of veteran actors his age who still retain clout and maintain a role model status for the younger and upcoming generation for a lasting legacy of classical and continues churning of classical Nollywood flicks that retains the message and significance of African essence in the movies.
So with rumored gist about a possible retirement in the offing, we hope you all join the clarion call for Olu to stay put just yet.
