
Former Sole Administrator of Onuimo local government area in Imo State, Hon Jeff Imo and Managing Director of LUFRANZA Construction Services have been declared wanted following their involvement in failed and abandoned road contracts.
In a statement made alleged available to Trumpeta, over abandoned Road projects in the state. In a letter signed by Chairman of the Task Force Committee on Rural Roads in Imo State, Sir Jude Ejiogu affirmed that following the Committee’s constant invitation and their refusal to attend meetings to explain their involvement in the rickety contracts, the Committee decided to declare them wanted”.
The Committee therefore gave the suspects 48 hours to submit themselves to the Commissioner of Police, Imo State Command or the Director of the State Security Service.
It further pleaded with the general public to report any information that would lead to the immediate arrest of the suspects to any nearest Police station.
Meanwhile, the Committee also directed the following contractors handling rural road projects in Ikeduru local government area to submit themselves to the office of the Commissioner of Police, Imo State Command or the Director of the State Security Service within 48 hours or be declared wanted for the same offence.
They include: A.I.L Construction Company, Hyfield and Allied Services, Bontex Construction Company and Wons Engineering Company Limited respectively.
In submission, the Committee averred that the action was in line with the rescue mission administration’s determination to curb any form of corruption in Imo State.
