Imo: APC, APGA Woo Aggrieved PDP Aspirants Party Agents In Subterranean Moves to Distablise The Umbrella Party

Reason? The All Progressive Congress APC, in Imo State chapter is said to be jubilating over the internal squabble trying to tear the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP apart in the state following the outcome of the contentious Delegate election results.
Trumpeta learnt that APC has thrown its doors wide open for disgruntled PDP members who wish to join the party and realize their political ambitions, from the House of Assembly seat to the Senate, but not Governorship slot, which is no go area and left solely for Owelle Rochas Okorocha.
According to APC sources, the party is open to all Imo Politicians, especially those of PDP extraction, as APC says the party is aware that PDP will soon explode, leaving APC as the only alternative for PDP members looking for political refuge.
Trumpeta was informed that Governor Rochas Okorocha has asked APC members to woo the disgruntled PDP members to APC, pointing out that greed and imposition will soon tear Imo PDP to shreds.
It would be recalled that the November 1, 2014 Imo PDP Delegate Congress at the LGA levels to elect the 3 Man Adhoc delegate has been causing crisis within the PDP, as some of the Guber Aspirants Petitioned the PDP hierarchy over the outcome of the election, which they accused some of their colleagues of scheming them out.
However, the agitation changed pattern last week when some of the agitating guber Aspirants accused their colleagues of forging their signatures, and in the process distanced their names from the petitions.
Following this latest development, APC is calling on the Guber Aspirants, and other disgruntled members of PDP to join the APC train fast.
