In what appears a new dimension to the controversy trailing the non- swearing in of the member elect of Oguta State Constituency in the Imo House of Assembly, Oguta ex militants have threatened to unleash terror in the State, if Hon Eugene Dibiagwu is not sworn in as member of the House, come Wednesday, 29th August, 2012.

A short e mail to Imo Trumpeta reminiscent of the style of Boko Haram sect, and endorsed by one Jomo Koko, spokesman of Oguta ex militants, read “Gentlemen of the press. I am Jomo Koko, Spokesman Oguta Ex Militants. Tell the President and whoever that may be willing to read or hear that we the ex militants will no longer fold our hands and watch …(Rochas Okorocha) rubbish our common heritage, for not swearing in Hon. Eugene Dibiagwu on 22nd of August, 2012 . On 00.00 hrs, they will hear from us and any attempt to further frustrates his swearing in on Wednesday 29th August, the consequence will be imagined. We will makeImoState ungovernable. Regards Jomo Koko, Spokesman, Oguta Ex Militants”

Later, the presumed Jomo Koko called Imo Trumpeta on Phone with a threat “I know whom we are calling. Your Newspaper is Imo Trumpeta. We want this in your FrontPage. We know your office, if you don’t publish it, you will see.

Attempt to speak to the purported Jomo Kobo was hushed by “Shut up and do what you are told” and the line went dead.
