As part of his support  towards the growth of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, in Imo State, especially across his immediate constituency, the leading House of Assembly aspirant for 2019 Ahiazu seat, Amb. Andrew Onyedikachi Amaechi jnr.  has handed over a refurbished party secretariat  for the Amuzi-lhenworie ward.

Addressing party faithful during the occasion held on Wednesday, May 2, 2018, Amb Amaechi described it as a worthwhile gesture, aimed at boosting the party in the area. He opined that a political party will not strive with weak foundation and lesser interest to the grassroots, which he pointed out motivated his resolve to providing a befitting office for  Amuzi-lhenworie ward.

Amaechi appreciated the  party leaders at all levels for their continued support towards the growth of the party, adding that APGA would not have been what it is without their supports and motivation.

He further admonished political aspirants to see politics as a vital means to serve, and shouldn’t be seen as a do or die affair. Similarly, the successful business mogul enjoined all and sundry to seek for supports in a more holistic means, other than maligning people’s integrity and reputation.

He said, “my resolve to contest for the State Assembly seat under our great party is for the overall interest of our people. By the grace of God, I am stable. I want to do more as a lawmaker. A Vote to APGA is a vote for liberation, a vote for effective representation and democracy dividends “.

Mr Andrew Amaechi however boasted that come 2019, APGA will win all positions with wide margins.

In their separate speeches, the chairman of Amuzi-lhenworie ward, Mr Alloysius Onuoha, and the LGA party’s Vice Chairman, Chief Casmir Oyinatumba thanked Mr Amaechi for his support to the party and advised him to ignore idle gossips whose works are aimed at destabilizing the established peace in the area.

Heralding the event was the handing over of the Amuzi-lhenworie ward party Secretariat keys to the ward chairman and the unveiling of the office by the Ahiazu Mbaise LGA Party chairman, Mr Ifeanyichukwu Okonkwo.
