A former chairman of Isiala Mbano Local Government Area Imo State, Hon Simeon Iwunze has described as fallacy, various publications alleging that he has joined the opposition forces to fight Gov Rochas Okorocha.

Reacting to publications made in some Newspapers based in Imo State, with the caption “Crack in Rocha’s Camp: Iwunze allegedly lobbies to join APC Coalition” the former member of Imo House of Assembly said that the publications were the handiwork of mischief makers.

In a release signed by Iwunze who is currently a Special Adviser to Gov Rochas Okorocha, he said that at no time did he have any relationship with the so called Coalition, pointing out that he is a politician of repute, who does not bite the finger that fed him.

He said that what worries him was the Media error of the Newspapers that made the publications, by not hearing his own side of the story before they went to town.

“There is nobody in Imo political system that does not know my character in politics, and my political relationship with some of the APC Coalition. Associating me with such a Group is a mere blackmail and I know those behind it” he hinted.

Iwunze said that he belongs to the Rescue Mission political family, with Governor Rochas Okorocha as the Leader.
