Oru East Leaders Celebrate Nzeruo’s Birthday in Style •Rate Performance High

“One good turn, they say, deserves another”. This axiom was relived recently as family members, friends, business associates and political gladiators from all walks of life converged to put light to candles and join the member representing Oru East State Constituency in Imo State House of Assembly, Hon Nkenna John Nzeruo, in celebrating the addition of a new year to his life.

The birthday celebration of the lawmaker who has been described in many quarters as the best description of who an ideal lawmaker should be like, took place on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, in Owerri, the Imo State capital.

The Leaders and stalwarts of the All Progressive Congress, APC, graced the occasion, in solidarity with a man they described as their own.

The birthday bash however turned  a roll call of political titans and heavyweights of Oru East extraction, who congregated to identify with Nzeruo.

Notable leaders present were; Hon Engr Chime Nzeribe (Apex leader), Hon Barr Greg Okemili (immediate past lawmaker), Chief Bernard Nwanańa (APC LGA Chairman), Hon sir Tony Enoch, Chief Abu Nnanna, Barr Nelson Ezerioha, Sir Chidi Obioha, Hon Alphonsus Onwumere,  Barr Kenneth Onyemejalam, Mrs Dympna Mbiamnozie (2015 PDP Assembly flagbearer), among other top shots.

Trumpeta Newspaper also gathered that for what he represents in Oru East as not only a vibrant lawmaker, but also as an accommodating, peace maker, Nzeruo’s birthday witnessed the presence of all political parties, including the People’s Democratic Party, All Progressive Grand Alliance, and others.

In their separate remarks, the leaders extolled the celebrant’s spirit of oneness and quest to move Oru East forward.

They described Nzeruo as a humble legislator who has been at his best in promoting peace, unity and progress across board, pointing out that the presence of different political parties is a clear evidence of his acceptance and the type of politician he is. They further charged him to do more.

Showering him with accolades, they prayed for God’s continued blessings and long life.

Responding, Hon Nzeruo thanked them for the show of love by celebrating with him.

He assured that he would continue with things that will glorify God, and ensure that a cordial relationship is established among Oru sons and daughters, irrespective of religious and political affiliations.
