Some appointees of the Imo State government are attracting troubles for themselves for holding more than one appointment.

Information available to our news desk revealed that many appointees are operating from different offices and have continued to take allowances and handle transactions in the offices for long.

Following series of complains and wastages coupled with alleged fraud happening in some of these offices, aggrieved APC members have now resolved to dig very deep to expose some of these appointees and their misdeeds..

There are indications that these multiple positions given to these appointees are unacceptable by Imo APC leaders and members of the public.

Involved are Barr Emma Ibediro, Hon Emma Bukar, Hon Bar Ugochi Nnanna, Hon Onwuenyiagba and others alleged to be holding multiple portfolio and Federal offices in the Rescue Mission Government.

Bar Emma Ibediro was formerly Imo APC Secretary, now Commissioner for Local Government and Rural Development and APC National organizing secretary while

Emma Bukar is currently the Commissioner for Science Technology, as well as the APC Chairman in Ehime Mbano and recently appointed Board member.

For Lady Ugochi Nnanna is currently the Commissioner in charge of Pension, she was recently listed as Federal Board member coupled with other leadership positions that she is handling in Imo State.

Hon Victor Onwuenyiagba is the Commissioner in charge of youths in Imo State. Moreover he is currently the APC Okigwe zonal leader.

These alleged involvements in multiple portfolio has brought these appointees to public ridicule and may soon lead to coming of anti graft agencies as well as the Bureau for Code of Conduct. The aggrieved APC members have continued to raise serious alarm against these appointees of Okorocha domination positions in Imo. The anti-graft agencies may invite them for explanation and cross examination.

Rumour and unconfirmed report on the project and programmes of some of these Ministries in Imo and the alleged illegal act in the past suggested that the affected appointee should be in the searchlight of EFFC and ICPC and if proved guilty at the end, they should be made to refund salaries and allowances the collected for working in more than one office. Many are calling on the State Governor to consider it necessary to withdraw these multiple portfolio.
