2019 Guber: AGAP Governorship Aspirant, Njoku Promises To Better Imo, End Poverty

All Grand Alliance Party Governorship candidate, Dr Anthony Iroegbu Njoku has obtained declaration of interest form at the state party secretariat in Owerri, last Friday where he promised to make Imo the Envy of all other States in Nigeria if he emerges the Governor in 2019.

Dr Njoku, a benefactor of Ex-Governor Achike Udenwa’s scholarship program abroad and pioneer student leader/activist stated that his purpose for the governorship seat was to and poverty and better Imo State by tackling insecurity, joblessness, poor quality infrastructure, poor healthcare, poor quality education and more.

The former project Director T-Mobile explained that poverty is a product of injustice against the people and promised to convert and encourage innovation to fight the scourge.

The governorship hopeful said Imo needs a captain to steer the affairs of the State in the right direction adding that AGAP will produce the 2019 governor. He urged all party members to work together in building the party and enjoined youths to register and collect their PVC’s before Expiration date given by INEC.

According to him, “Participate and vote candidates of proven antecedent rather than for instant meal. We would have done our selves de-service if we don’t register and collect our PVC’s before 2019 election” he concluded.

Earlier, the State chairman of AGAP, Chief Ugo C.Ugo assured a level playing ground for all aspirants in 2019. He congratulated the party’s guber aspirants, Dr Anthony Iroegbu Njoku for his courage and vision to via under AGAP and pledged the party’s support if he emerge AGAP Governorship flag bearer.
