Engr. Ejiogu Chukwuma Philip, the People’s Democratic Party, PDP flag bearer for Owerri North constituency seat in Imo State House of Assembly, IMHA come 2019 has pledged to attract government attention to the constituency, if elected in the forthcoming general election.
Ejiogu while speaking with newsmen at his campaign office along MCC in Owerri on Saturday thanked the party members and leadership in the State for ensuring a credible process.
Ejiogu who also is a renowned Electrical Engineer and Legislative Aide to the Federal Reps member representing Owerri Municipal ,Owerri North/West. Hon. Ezenwa Onyewuchi assured his constituents that he would not disappoint them but would ensure he gave quality representation.
He said Owerri North needed qualitative and adequate representation at the State Assembly which was immensely desired for a long period.
The youthful Ejiogu who is the son of the popular politician, Nda Ambrose Ejiogu said he joined the race to reverse the trend because his people deserve much attention from the state level, promising to hit the ground running immediately he’s elected by sponsoring a bill on pension reforms.
He said, “his experience as a legislative aide to a 2 terms Federal Reps member, Hon.Onyewuchi Ezenwa would be brought into bear.
He said, “as we prepare for the main elections in 2019, I wish to call on my fellow contenders and all Ndi Imo to come out en mass and vote massively for the Peoples Democratic Party at all levels in 2019 so as to consolidate on the gains recorded so far,”
According to him, I will use the instrumentality of lawmaking to facilitate and bring about the needed transformation and amendment of pension bill if elected in 2019.”
“PDP has all it takes to take over power in Imo and Nigeria at large. God has position our great party PDP to take over Douglas House in 2019.I promised to give power back to the people if elected.”
He further said he thanked the good people of Owerri North for electing him as the candidate of their great party in the 2019 House of Assembly election.”
