Aboh Mbaise/Ngor Okpala Fed. Constitueny: Okey Emereonye Soars High With APGA Flag

Highly resourceful and vibrant indigene of Obibi Ahiato Nguru Community in Aboh Mbaise local government area of Imo State, Hon. Okechukwu Emereonye has formally been presented with All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) flag, a symbol of authority as the party’s standard bearer cum candidate for the 2019 House of Representatives election for Aboh Mbaise/Ngor Okpala federal constituency of Imo State.

The formal presentation of APGA flag to Okechukwu Emereonye was sequel to his emergence as the winner of APGA primary election preceding Aboh  Mbaise/Ngor Okpala federal constituency seat election coming up in 2019.

Presenting the flag to the victorious APGA candidate at the flag off of the party’s nationwide electioneering campaign in Awka, Anambra State capital city, APGA National Chairman, Chief Victor Nwonye applauded him for his courage, vision and resolve to vie for a seat at the green chamber of the National Assembly.

National Assembly primary election as eloquent testimony of the love, respect and confidence reposed in him by the people of Aboh Mbaise/Ngor Okpala federal constituency.

The APGA national chairman expressed the optimism that Hon. Emereonye would not only win the 2019 house of reps seat convincingly but also, make the people of his constituency and Imo State proud in the National Assembly.

Receiving the APGA flag in the midst of the party’s national and state officers and highly revered chieftains of the party, Okechukwu Emereonye commended the leadership of the party across the country for nurturing it to greatness and position of envy.

He pointed out that APGA today, is the very political party aggrieved members of other political parties seek to belong.

Thanking leaders, members and delegates of the party who ensured peaceful conduct of the primaries, the APGA candidate vowed to make a positive difference in Aboh Mbaise/Ngor Okpala, if given the mandate to function as the people’s representative at the National Assembly.

“I am happy with APGA delegates who voted for me at the primaries and I am proud of my people, the people of Aboh Mbaise and Ngor Okpala federal constituency. I am also confident that it is time for me to be given the mandate to represent and make these people who love me so much proud by way of effective representation. This, I assure you all, will be done, if mandated to serve”, Okechukwu Emereonye stated.

Present at the APGA national electioneering campaign flag off ceremony at Awka last Thursday, were the party’s national chairman, Chief Victor Nwonye; the party’s national vice Chairman, Chief Uchenna Kegbuo, the party’s presidential candidate, Major General John Gbor (rtd); presidential running mate, Chief Jerry Chukwueke as well as other national, state, LGA and ward officers of the party. Among dignitaries and chieftains of the party in attendance were the party’s governorship candidates, including Senator Ifeanyi Ararume of Imo State as well as house of reps and senatorial candidates of the party.

Meanwhile, Chief Victor Nwonye has announced that governorship and state houses of assembly candidates would be issued flag as the party’s standard bearers in their various states at state flag off ceremonies as only the Presidential and National Assembly candidates were issued flags
