Prince (Barr) Ezennia Denton Ogbuehi has extended warm felicitation to the Governor-Elect and Deputy Governor-Elect of Imo state, Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha and Hon Gerald Irona respectively.
In a congratulatory message made public, Ogbuehi who is a Special Assistant to the Speaker of the Federal House and a former Senate Candidate for Orlu Senate stated that the victory of Ihedioha and Irona is a divine act of God. He expressed happiness that people of the state have been liberated at last.
According to Ogbuehi, there is need for all stakeholders, especially the major playmakers of the politics of the state to rally round Ihedioha and support his administration to move forward in the coming dispensation.
Ogbuehi called on the champions of the Coalition and Allied Forces political groups in the state to lend necessary support to the new governor-elect while urging other parties and candidates involved in the contest to avoid going to court to challenge Ihedioha’s victory.
He prayed the Almighty God to give Ihedioha and Irona the wisdom and strength to handle the affairs of the state from May 29,2019
