Following the assessment tour of the Imo State Peoples Democratic Party PDP, the Njaba LGA chapter has in earnest kick started in positive reaction to the reformation of the party in the area.
This move was made possible by a Chieftain of the party, the former Executive Chairman of the LGA, Hon Chief (Dr) Eddy Ikwubuo (Agunechemba 1 of Njaba) who made a cash donation of One Million Naira (NIm) to kick start the building of a new PDP secretariat in Njaba and a donated new giant generating set to power the old rented secretariat.
He further reiterated that the PDP in Njaba needs urgent reformation and transformation urging other Leaders/Stakeholders of the party to support the move and the party.
He eulogized the Interim Management Committee Chairman, Hon Obodosha Agwubuo and his members as well as the LGA party administration for their good performance so far and urged them to do more for the party and the good people of Njaba.
Agunechemba while commending the state party leadership for stearing the party towards a successful 2019 general election, also called on Njaba people to always support the government of Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha and his “Rebuild Imo” agenda which according to him has started yielding dividends of democracy for Imolites.
Bar Chief RA Okoro (Homeland), a BOT Chairman for Orluzurumere in his remark called for synergy between leaders of the party in the LGA and PDP stakeholders so as to move the party forward.
He however urged all Njaba indigenes regardless of party affiliation to support the rebuild Imo agenda of Gov Emeka Ihedioha which he noted is actually the true rescue mission for Imolites.

This according to Hon. Georgina Anyamele, an Ex-officio of the Party on the delegation will foster unity in the Party among Party faithfuls as well as keep the party alive in  and engage officers of the party positively.
Hon. Nze Ray Emeana who led the delegation in his remarks thanked the people and leaders of Njaba for coming out en mass, he further noted that the aim of the visit was to appraise the state of the Party Secretariat and not to indict anyone.
