The date was Saturday the 30th day of November 2019 when Barrister Chief Willie Amadi (Ukwa Achi Aka) took the bold step to invite friends and well wishers across the political divide to his Ajuzieogu Lodge for the all remarkable birth day dig.
The ceremony which started about 8:00am in the morning witnessed men of the Barr who gathered in their numbers for their Barr meeting at his invite.
This however, culminated till evening when the real birthday party took place with a roll-call of who is who in Imo State in attendance. It was more or less a cocktail as such menu as “Ukwa, Nkwobi, Suya, Soup, Rice and other assorted kinds of food were in display for guests.
Come to think of drinks, palm wine was lavishly served with choice wines and drinks to water down the menu so served.
Unfortunately people who felt that the ceremony will be full of protocols were disappointed as there were no room for such even as the birthday cake was cut.
It was come, sit down and enjoy yourselves as Saro wiwa, Ababana, Chinedu Orji and Foreigner entertained the guests with melodious Highlife tunes.
The birthday party attracted a litany of Imo personalities including Governor Emeka Ihedioha, Eze Ilomuanya, Chief Peter Mgbenwelu, Sir Ambrose Ejiogu, Chief Osita Nwaneri, Barrister Chris Okewulonu (Chief of Staff to the Government), Senator Osita Izunaso, Hon Mayor Eze, Hon Ray Emeana, Ambassador Prof. Cona Anosike, Chief Barrister Chuka Odom, Hon. Ernest Ibejiakor among too many others numerous to mention here.
For those who missed the bash, eeeeeh, it was something else. Chief Willie Amadi was really at his best serving both Dick and Tom Happily.
