IMHA: Kennedy Ibeh Presents Score Card

The member representing Obowo State constituency in the Imo State House of Assembly, Hon. Barr. Kennedy Ibeh has presented his score card, as it relates to the business of legislation and constituency projects.
While other lawmakers except for few of them celebrated their 1st year as parliamentarians, Kennedy Ibeh marked his 5th year in the House, having successfully completed his first tenure (2015-2019), and had already served the first year of his second term in office.
The 9th House, 3rd Assembly of the Rt. Hon. Collins Chiji’s led Imo legislature was inaugurated on the 13th June, 2020.
Not only that Ibeh has distinguished himself as a pragmatic lawmaker via sound presentation of bills and motions, he is not wanting in constituency projects.
While in the 8th House, the astute Lawmaker took advantage of his position to change the narrative in Obowo as his representation was riddled with massive empowerment.
He donated lots of transformers to different communities, as well as constructed markets, Civic centre halls for Communities, restored long aged forgone electricity, and rehabilitated schools.
Also, Nke Nke Enyi Obowo as fondly called constructed 500 seater capacity solar powered ICT Centre, road networks at Malaysian Market, pipe borne hole water projects for markets and communities, among others.
Commenting on his humanitarian services, Ibeh Constructed bungalows for widows, paid yearly free JAMB registration forms for Obowo students, and facilitated the employment of Obowo indigenes.
Speaking about the cardinal focus expected of a lawmaker, the lawyer turned politician have recorded 7 bills and 35 motions standing in his name.
The bills and motions were basically people oriented that recieved kudos from the masses.
Some of the bills include; the Fiscal Responsibility Law Bill; a Bill for the establishment of a Bureau for the Defence of the Defenceless and Conflict Resolution; the Imo Industrial Guide Bill; a Bill for a Law for the Amendment of the Owerri Capital Development Authority Law; A Bill for a Law for the establishment of an Information Communications Technology Centre for the 27 LGAs, Cancer Research and Management Centre Bill; Imo State Investment Promotion Commision (Amendment) Bill;
Other bills include; a Bill for a Law to Regulate Land Allocation in the State Industrial Layout and for other Related Purposes.
Hon. Chidozie Kennedy Ibeh is a rugged mentor with unbridled penchant for youth and community development.
Currently, he is the Chairman, House Committee on Health and Inter-Parliamentary.
Meanwhile, he has reassured of his commitment in delivering democracy dividends, while calling on them to support the government thrive in all her good policies.
