The 6th edition of Comrade Okey Alozie Unity Football Cup will kick off on Sunday, December 13th among Kindred in Okwu Nguru ,Aboh Mbaise LGA, Imo State .
The competition, put together by a prolific writer cum Trumpeta Newspaper, Director of Special Project was packaged to promote peace and unity among youths and to discover young talents.
Speaking ahead of the tournament, Okey Alozie said,” the football tournament, which will involve the female and male teams players in Okwu Nguru will feature the best of soccer artistry.
He pointed out that the tournament which began as a talent hunting show piece six years ago with participating teams from Okwu Nguru, will feature increased participation this year.
The Ace journalist called Imo stakeholders to support the initiative, saying it aims at engaging youth in the area.
