The Imo Youth Assembly, a Youth Organization in the state has re-affirmed its desire to build and sustain the democratic processes in Nigeria.

The organization stated this on Monday during a courtesy visit to the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) Imo State Chapter.

The President of the organization, Dr. Onumo Harold, said that the courtesy visit to ACN was borne out of the fact that the party has distinguished itself as a unique and transparent platform that does not embrace evil.

He maintained that the party has always respected the rule of law and also evidenced injustice, which has stopped some obnoxious policies of the state government and urged the party to keep the pace on.

Dr. Harold also used the medium to officially invite ACN to the organization’s forth coming Imo Young Entrepreneurs Summit, scheduled for December this year, adding that Imo Youth Assembly had in September organized a one week prayer summit to seek the face of God to tackle unemployment problem in the state.

In his acceptance speech, the state Chairman of ACN, Chief Charles Ubah thanked the organization for the courtesy visit and promised that the party will continue to abide by the tenets of democracy
