The Governor Of Imo state Owelle Rochas Okorocha have ordered the immediate closure of all strip clubs in Imo state Nigeria.
The governor described the introduction of the strip club as devilish and strange to the Igbo culture and ordered the closure on the 31st of October 2012, after a meeting with the state security council recently.
Stating that the night-club in Owerri is a big blow to the Igbo culture, he further warned that the Imo state Government no longer condone their destructive activities, in other words the Imo state Governor banned under aged kids from attending night-clubs in the state, adding that any club found in violation of this law will be closed for life.
He also ordered for the demolition of a kidnappers hid-out in Oru-east LGA of Imo state and also the closure of the fueling station in Mbaitoli LGA.
