The teachers and principals may likely start their own capturing this week. While the Ministries and Parastatals will begin their own biometric capturing before Easter holidays.
The civil servants in Imo State are to submit their Birth Certificates, First School Leaving Certificate, Employment Records and other credentials that are very necessary.  They are also expected to show certificate confirming the results that the presented before they were employed to work.
Result of the biometric capturing will be out before May 1st (workers day). The successful workers will be given new identity cards while the unsuccessful ones, shall not get the new identity card.
Our source further revealed that only those with the new identity cards will be allowed into offices from May this year.

The last biometric capturing of Imo workers was done 10 years ago according to sources, which made government not to recognize irregularities.
