A well known builder, immediate past president of Owerri Sports Club and CEO/Founder of a reputable Building Construction Company, CONZAC Nigeria Limited, Bldr. Collins Nwoko, has been honored by the Executives and member of SAFARI (AIFCESS) Recreation Club, Owerri.
The event which took place during the Inauguration of the 2022 Executive Committee members of SAFARI Club at the Club House, Shell Camp Owerri, witnessed the convergence of notable dignitaries and honorees from within and outside the shores of the country, amidst fun-fare and side attractions.
Speaking with Newsmen after receiving his award of honor, Bldr. Collins Nwoko expressed happiness at the turn out of events, he commended the members of the SAFARI Club of Owerri for finding him worthy for the award.
In a chat with Trumpeta, the immediate past President of Owerri Sports Club Bldr. Collins Nwoko, who hail from a very humble background as observed by our reporter disclosed that his award is not far fetched from the love shown to him during his president’s nite and achievements recorded during his tenure as the President of Owerri Sports Club. In his words “I was the Immediate past President of Owerri Sport Club, during my president’s nite, where I celebrated my achievement, on that particular day, members of SAFARI club where in attendance and they saw my achievements”.
Bldr. Nwoko seized the platform to reel out some of his achievements so far during his tenure as the president of Owerri Sports Club especially in the construction of a standard swimming pool and pool house at the Owerri sports club, which was started and completed and handed over to the club during his administration despite the COVID-19 threat, which according to him prompted the members and executives of SAFARI club to make him a honorary member of their club.
According to his citation, Bldr Collins Nwoko is an Astute Project Manager who is the founder and CEO of CONZAC Nigeria Limited; an independent foremost and reputable Building Construction firm with huge involvement in the construction industry for over three decades, he was the president of Owerri Sports Club from 2019 to 2021 club years, where he recorded excellent service especially during the peak of COVID-19 Era with its attendance economic melt down, Bldr Nwoko with his committed team and support from members was able to navigate, build and construct a world class swimming pool, pool house and other iconic projects, geared towards uplifting the club.
Bldr. Nwoko hails from Obohia in Ahazu Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State, a graduate of building/civil technology, a registered chartered builder, and immediate past chairman of the Nigeria Institute of building (NIOB) Imo State chapter, he is happily married with children.
