The remains of the immediate past Imo State Director of Sports, Mr Goddy Agbarakwe will be laid to rest in his home town Umuagara in Nkwere Local Government Area, today. The one time Captain of Spartans Football Club which later metamorphosed into Iwuanyanwu Nationale and now Heartland FC met his untimely death on the 24 of January 2013. Reports reaching Imo Trumpeta indicate that his body will arrive Dan Anyiam Stadium by 8:30 am today were a novelty match will be played for him. His burial is expected to attract the members of the Association of Directors of Sports in the nation, Nigeria Association of coaches, Imo State chapter, members of Imo All Stars fitness club, Staffs of Imo State Sports Council as well as sports icons all over the nation. The management and staff of Imo Trumpeta pray that his soul will rest in peace-Amen.
