They want me dead, says Newspaper columnist, protus.

Popular Newspaper columnist, Iyke Nathan Uzoma (protus) yesterday raised an alarm, stating that some unknown persons have marked him for elimination.

Protus who spoke to Imo Trumpeta, said he has been receiving threats to his dear life through text messages and phone calls in recent times He said “last Thursday, I received a phone call from an unknown person who threatened me, saying my phone number has been cloned for the purpose of using his number to send text messages that will implicate or rape him in a criminal act”

Protus alerted the public, saying his safety is no longer guaranteed.

The award winning columnist has been objective and critical of the politics and programme of the Rochas Okorocha administration.
