2015:OKIGWE NORTH FED HOUSE GETS A CONTENDER MEETING

Chief Bright Nwachukwu of Isiala Mbano Local Government Area Imo State has shown interest in representing Okigwe North Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives in 2015 during their stakeholders’ meeting held in Owerri. Nwachukwu declared his interest before the leaders of Okigwe zone comprised of some dignitaries in Okigwe, Prof. Obioma Iheduru, Hon Chief Monday Ikokwu, Hon Chief Tony Asomugha JP, Eziada Dr Ngozi Nkemakolam, Hon Jude Chukwulebe, fmr T.C Chairman Onuimo LG, Chief Sylvester Eboh, Hon Jude Obidiaku and Mrs Angela Nwoke etc.

Addressing the leaders, the aspirant said he is inspired to run by the zeal to do be innovative and transform the constituency. Nwachukwu stated that he has the idea needed in the federal constituency. He said the electorate now know who to give their mandate based on the manifestos of the candidates. Nwachukwu emphasized on the need for the people of the zone to remain united reminding the leaders that the progress of the zone is in their hands. The aspirant who is coming on the platform of People Democratic Party (PDP) promised never to disappoint the people who gave the mandate to represent them.

In his remark, one time governorship aspirant in the state, Prof Obioma Iheduru who was the convener of the meeting commended Chief Nwachukwu for deciding to represent the constituency.
