IKE KENNEDY ODOEME STEALS SHOW AT OKIGWE GLOBAL ELDERS FORUM MEETING

A Frontline Senatorial aspirant for Imo North (Okigwe) Senatorial District Seat, Ike Kennedy Odoeme, on Sunday, May 3rd, 2026, stole the show at a meeting of Okigwe Zone people, anchored by the Okigwe Global Elders Forum, which held at Protea Hotel, New Owerri, Imo State.

Speaking during the Stakeholders meeting of the Zone, Professor Maurice Iwu noted that the meeting became necessary given the obvious fact that the people of the zone needs to harmonize the positions available, starting from the House of Assembly, House of Representatives and Senate.

The erudite Professor added that the essence of the meeting was to review the working document already developed prior to the 2023 general election that brought the emergence of Senator Patrick Ndubueze as Senator for Okigwe Zone in 2023.

Youths of Okigwe Zone present at the meeting hailed Odoeme with wild acclaim as he spoke, while they jeered at Senator Patrick Ndubueze while speaking. The venue became rowdy as the youths made noise atop the roof, almost disallowing the Senator from speaking, despite pleadings from the Forum’s leadership to allow the Senator to land his speech.

Obviously, as observers noted, the wild and jubilant acclamation by the Okigwe Youths for Odoeme connotes unmitigated approval and support for the youthful Senatorial contestant.

According to the youths, Ike Kennedy Odoeme has been noted to have liberal mind and vibrant, as well as approachable, when compared with the sitting Senator Patrick Ndubueze, whom they described as a benchwarmer and not Youth friendly. They said that if Ike Kennedy Odoeme goes to the Senate, it will mean that the youths will occupy that position along with him, going by the very manner he receives Okigwe youths with open hand and open mind, even as he caters for their welfare by his generous financial support. They described Senator Patrick Ndubueze as ” a man that is representing only himself and family at the Red chamber of the National Assembly.

The elated Ike Kennedy Odoeme spoke with valour, reeling out what he has in store if voted as the Senator for Imo North (Okigwe) Senatorial District. He doled out substantial amount of money for the transport of Ndi Eze and other leaders who attended the meeting.

The stakeholders meeting had in attendance HRM Eze Ohanweh, Professor Maurice Iwu, Barr. Ifeanyi Agwu, Chief Longers Anyanwu, Professor Nnamdi Obiaraeri, Engr. Chinedu Chukwuonye, Rt. Hon. Kennedy Ibeh, Engr. Chima Akuzie, Chief Mike Duru Ejiogu, Professor Christopher Eze, Ike Kennedy Odoeme, Dr. Anyaeze, Chief Chikwem Onuoha and a host of other leaders too numerous to mention.
