Owerri Community Youths, Hausas Committed To Peaceful Co-existence

Umuihua youths in Owere Ndi-Ise in Owerri Municipality and Hausas residing at Ama Hausa, Douglas road, Owerri have pledged to continue to live in peace and harmony.

This declaration was made Tuesday when the executives of Umuihua/Umuodu Youth Organization paid a courtesy call to the Ama Hausa Community in Owerri.

The Chairman Umuihua Youth Organization, Mr. Obinna Ezenwa, made the declaration when he led the executives of the Youth Body on a courtesy visit to the Hausa Community in Owerri.

Mr Ezenwa explained that the essence of the familiarization visit to the Ama Hausa Community was to inform them that a new executive has been elected and  inaugurated.

The Youth Chairman thanked Ama Hausa Community for receiving them, urging the Sarikin Hausawa to continue the good work the group have been doing by being peaceful and orderly. He assured the Community that the Youth Body will visit them from time to time to maintain cordiality. He however enjoined them to often keep their surroundings clean to live a healthy life.

In his Speech, the Sarikin Hausawa of Ama Hausa Community, HRH Alhaji Baba Saidu Suleman, commended the Owere Nchi-Ise Youth body for paying them a courtesy call and prayed God to bless and keep their landlords.

The Sarikin Hausawa stressed that Ama Hausa Community will always liaise with them describing the UUYO Chairman as a wise and responsible leader.

Members of the Umuihua/Umuodu executive who were on the familiarization visit to Ama Hausa Community include Mr Obinna Ezenwa (Chairman), Oguoma Sopuru (Provost) and Oguoma Ikenna (Treasurer).
