PDP Remains Dominant Party In Imo

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has been described as an indomitable and dominant political party in Imo state. The PDP zonal Chairman (South-East) Captain Austine Akobundu made this assertion at a PDP stakeholders meeting held on Sunday 16th June, 2013 at Senator Francis Arthur Nzeribe’s country house, Oguta Local Government Area, Imo state.
He expressed optimism that the party will emerge victorious in any election organized in the state.
In her contribution, the National woman leader of PDP , Dr Mrs Kema Chikwe added that the upcoming election in Oguta is very significant for PDP. She also noted that the party’s support base has increase from 60% to 90% which is a clear indication that victory is assured. She advised stakeholders never to deviate from the right track in the course of repositioning the party.
The state Chairman of PDP, Eze Duruiheoma SAN expressed gratitude for the prompt response of the party’s loyalists and beckoned on them to be more pro-active. The Chairman further declared that PDP is like a lactating mother taking care of an infant and said that none of its members will be unjustly treated as the umbrella will accommodate every democrat.
