Government To Commence Periodic Inspection Of Public Schools

The resolution by the Rochas Okorocha led government of Imo state to reshape the educational sector in the state has taken another periodic inspection of public schools. This move was revealed over the weekend by the member representing Ikeduru state constituency Hon. Samdaddy Anyanwu at his country home Amimo Ikeduru.
Addressing the Ikeduru chapter of Nigeria Union of Teachers under the secondary school principal and primary school Head Teacher, the high ranking lawmaker told them that the government is poised to work with them to bring back the lost glory of the primary and secondary education system of the state, with high academics and moral standard.
He revealed that he will want the move to state with the schools in Ikeduru, he advised the principals and head teachers to organize and put in place academic, social and cultural competitions and societies in the different schools.
The lawmaker promised also to assist them in any way they deem fit. He revealed to them that he has taken delivering of the free school materials (uniform, lockers etc), for Ikeduru schools being distributed by the government and it will be disbursed as at when due.
Responding, the leader of the principals, Mr Kemas Manusor, Mr Ukaga Francis (head leaders) and Nwansi Philip (NUT Ikeduru) thanked the lawmaker for his grassroot exploits and promised to give him all the need support to excel more.
They went further in their respective submission lamented the decay on moral and education standard of the children and promise to show appreciation if the lawmaker and the state government will come to their and as a matter of urgency.
