Former political Adviser to Ex-Governor Ikedi Ohakim, Barr Steve Asimobi was yesterday, kicked out of the PDP fold.
In a letter to Asimobi dated 20th August, 2013 and endorsed by Dr Nze J.V.C Egbuchu, Chairman, Nkwerre LGA PDP, and made available to Trumpeta, the party said Asimobi was expelled after a careful review of his actions and other anti-party activities.
The letter reads “The party has reviewed your actions and attacks on the party and its past public officers bordering on anti-party activities and hereby inform you of your expulsion from the party based on the anti-party activities”.
“The party rejects your belated resignation which is subsequent to your committing of the said offence and therefore upholds the said expulsion from the party” the letter declared.
