The outcome of Imo Guber and House of Assembly election has continued to put pressure and confusion on the side of governor Okorocha’s followers known as the Rescue Mission group.
Information revealed that fresh confusion is now hitting Okorocha followers as the Director General UgboNneoma” group, the political arm of the wife of the governor is said to have clashed with one of the government functionaries.
Trumpeta gathered that the female Commissioner who hails from Ikeduru Local government area of Imo State out of fear, warned the Rescue Mission women to avoid coming to Imo INEC office in order not to be attacked by PDP supporters but his massage was said to have gone contrary to the directive of the Director General of Ugbonneoma and Commissioner incharge of Local Government.
Hon Dr Mrs Getrude Ego Oduka ,and that of Imo First Lady Ugo Nneoma Nkechi Rochas Okorocha.
Further information revealed that the messages sent by the two women in question shows that all is not well with the Rescue Mission women group as there was contradictory messages.
Rescue Mission women is now divided as we gathered from a reliable source. Some of the women have began to pull out to join the PDP, the contrary message sent by the female commissioner stopped the rescue mission women from hitting Owerri to protest at INEC office as initially directed. This development did not go down well with other women leaders who felt that the Director General of Ugbonneoma should not be challenged.
Some of the women who spoke to us disclosed that confusion is now ravaging the Rescue Mission team, adding that winning or losing is not a do or die affair. The concerned rescue mission advised the leadership of Ugbonneoma group to relax for now.
The verbal exchanges between the woman leaders is said to have escalated into a serious war now leading to fractionalization.
