IMHA Majority Leader Rates Govt Activities •Lauds Ihedioha’s Proposed Awo Omamma Specialist Hospital

The Rebuild Imo government, led by Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha has been rated high for some obvious reasons bothering on policies and projects execution.
Speaking on the floor of the State House of Assembly in Wednesday during the presentation of the 2020 appropriation budget by the Chief Executive, Hon Chigozie Nwaneri representing Oru East State constituency said Imo State is truly in good and capable hands.
While commending the governor’s political and leadership sagacity, the Assembly Majority leader affirmed that the tremendous achievements within a short while cannot be over emphasized.
Nwaneri opined that the giant strides recorded so far speaks volume of more to come under the Emeka Ihedioha led administration.
He highlighted some of the landmark projects ranging from the massive ongoing road constructions, the Treasury Single Account, TSA idea which portrays his high level of transparency.
Others; the robust infrastructural development going on across the 27 Council areas, the academic reform, boost in agriculture, youth and sports development, as well as prompt payment of salaries and pensions.
Hon Chigozie Nwaneri further opined that Imo, under the present administration has raised the ICT awareness among Imo youth, and civil servants which goes a long way in harnessing his developmental consciousness.
According to the vibrant lawmaker, “I don’t think there is any governor in Nigeria today, both past and present whom is humble as Emeka Ihedioha. Despite his political exploits and present position, he is always willing to listen and heed to positive advice”.
In a related development, the governor has been commended for the inclusion of Awo Omamma General Hospital into a specialist hospital.
The Oru East representative in a media parley with Trumpeta correspondent in his office lauded the governor for that move, stressing that such idea can only be propagated by a people oriented leader.
Nwaneri recalled that the government’s resolve to elevate four general hospitals into a specialist hospital and rehabilitation of health centers may not be unconnected to the House of Assembly oversight visit across the general hospitals in the State, recently.
He disclosed that truly, the health sector was given little or no attention by the past administration which left the hospitals almost moribund and ants infested zone.
However, he acknowledged that Ihedioha is not only giving attention to governance, but also to the most important sector of health and healthy living which propelled the recent move.
Similarly, the soft spoken politician called on the government for more, reiterating that ‘a healthy people is a wealthy State’.
Chigozie Nwaneri seized the opportunity to reassure his constituents of sound representation and democracy dividends.
