The Proprietress of Imo Angels FC, Lady Jenny Anusiem on behalf of the clubs Management and players has extended her heart felt congratulations to Nigeria’s representatives at the Caf women champions league, Wafu B qualifiers, Rivers Angles FC on their resounding victory over Hasaacas Ladies FC.
Speaking to the clubs media, the young and passionate football administrator was full of praises for the Nigerian champions urging them to go all out for the crown.
” On behalf of Imo Angels, I wish to congratulate the Jewels of Rivers on their strong and victorious start at the Caf women champions league qualifiers in Abidjan.
It is a victory well deserved especially for female football in Nigeria given that the girls have worked so hard to get to this stage.
She noted that the girls did not only beat Nigeria perennial rivals, Ghana they also outclassed their opponent in the field of play with their sublime skills.”
Lady Jenny who is optimistic on the chances of the Port Harcourt based side also called on all Nigerians to rally behind Rivers Angels as they fly the nations flag in the maiden CAF Women club competition.
