Two front runners at the ongoing NLO One 2023 league season of Group E1, Okpala Centre, First Mahi FC and Kun Khalifat FC both of Imo state will lock horns today in what can be described as battle of supremacy.
Both sides won their match day one encounters on Wednesday with First Mahi overcoming Jaguar FC of Umuahia 1-3 to top the log while Kun Khalifat saw off Ingas FC challenge from Enugu 0-2 to also lay claim to the top spot on the group E1 log.
The two Imo state based sides would today stake their claims for the top spot as the winner will go ahead to consolidate leadership of the group’s table and command of the group.
The encounter is the first time both sides would be meeting in any type of competition as spectators would be in for a thrilling encounter considering how both teams dispatched their match day 1 opponents in the Imo Derby.
