NPFL defending champions, Enyimba FC will on Tuesday take on their Oriental rival, Heartland FC of Owerri and one player who can’t wait for the traditional tie is Mujeeb Odufeso.
The former Gombe United FC player who will be involved in his first Oriental Derby encounter in the league said, the People’s Elephant’ are seeking nothing but victory come Tuesday.
“Yeah this is my first Oriental Derby game and this is a game personally as a player, I wanna win because is my first.
“We are also going into the game because we want nothing short of victory because we know where we are on the table.
The excited player who has had five appearances including two starts since he joined from the Savannah Scorpions also said;
“Everyone in the team is ready for this game am very sure both the players and the technical crew have put in a lot of work and am very sure definitely we will deliver.
Enyimba got the better of their neighbors in the first leg at the Dan Anyiam Stadium with Stephen Chukwude solitary strike ( who has since moved on to Heartland FC) to earn their first away win of the season.
The NPFL match day 30 encounter is slated for Tuesday April 17, 2024 at the Enyimba Int’l Stadium, Aba by 4.00pm under closed door.
