GOVERNOR UZODIMMA APPOINTED COORDINATOR OF SOUTHERN NIGERIA TRADITIONAL COUNCIL
Imo State Governor, His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma was Thursday appointed the Coordinator of the Southern Nigeria Traditional Council.
The appointment was announced by a delegation of the Southern Traditional Rulers Council, led by the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, CFR, during a courtesy visit to the Governor at the Imo State Government House, Owerri.
The delegation commended Governor Uzodimma for his visionary leadership and developmental strides in Imo State, noting that his commitment to unity and progress aligns with the Council’s mission to foster peace and cooperation among southern states.
In his response, Governor Uzodimma expressed gratitude to the traditional rulers for the confidence reposed in him and assured them of his unwavering dedication to strengthening traditional institutions and promoting regional harmony across Southern Nigeria.
The meeting centered on strengthening collaboration between government and traditional institutions in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s transformative agenda for national renewal.
