SUSPECTED ANTI-CHRIST AGENT, DISRUPTS CHURCH ACTIVITIES DURING SUNDAY MASS AT NEW OWERRI. PRIEST, WORSHIPPERS PANIC.

A young man of about 24 years of age, names withheld for now was said to have embarrassed priests and worshippers of a Catholic Church located within the axis of New Owerri, Imo State last Sunday, 30th of November, 2025 during Sunday mass activities.

The story has it that the young man, dark in complexion sneaked into the church and later appeared at the altar of God to disrupt church activities.

Report has it that the young man disturbed the church during congregation and liturgical activities.

Source revealed that his boys action got the priests and members of the church annoyed as a result he was taken out for interrogation.

Our source further revealed that the action of the young man created fear and panic even when the 8:30am mass was dismissed.

However, some top rank official insisted that his identity must be known before any further action will be taken.

During the interrogation, the young man said he is a student of FUTO and a native of Ebonyi State, in his words “I am against the church and it is time for God to use his sledge hammer and sword to cut – off the Bad ones “ he said.

Continuing, he disclosed that his mission now is to measure Jerusalem because time for the real separation has come.

Thereafter, he submitted his mother’s phone number to the church officials and she was called without delay.

When the mother came to the church, she cried bitterly and apologized for the embarrassment her son gave to the church”. My son is not normal. He has been going round churches disturbing worshipers”

“Last week he was at St Mark Catholic Church“ the mother of the young man further said.

The church resolved to allow the mother to take her son but warned that he should not be allowed to be moving around to disturb people.

Many advised the mother to take her son to the Hospital for mental treatment.

It could be recalled that for more than one year now, suspected Boko haram agents have been attacking Christians especially during Sunday masses and this killings and attacks have made priests and worshippers of the Catholic Church to live in perpetual fear.
