On behalf of my family, my Campaign Organization and the people of Okigwe South Federal Constituency, I warmly congratulate HRH. Eze Abel Onuegbu Osuji (Ukaji III), and the good people of Onicha Uboma, on the occasion of the 2026 Onicha Uboma New Yam Festival.

The New Yam Festival is a cherished celebration of our rich culture, tradition, unity and gratitude for the blessings of a new harvest. It is also a time to honour our heritage and strengthen the bonds that unite our people.

I commend the organisers and the traditional leadership of Onicha Uboma for preserving this important cultural tradition and creating an opportunity for our people to come together in peace and celebration.

May this year’s festival bring peace, prosperity, good health and greater unity to Onicha Uboma and the entire Okigwe South Federal Constituency.
