Staff and patrons at the five star Concorde Hotel, Owerri Imo State were thrown into confusion Wednesday night when a man was found dead in his car parked at the premises of the hotel.
The Concorde Hotel Community was attracted by the presence of the lifeless man said to be in his early fifties. Trumpeta learnt that the deceased man was found dead inside his car.
Attempts to get the staffers or management to speak on the sad development proved abortive as no one offered to comment on the matter.
However, Trumpeta learnt that the man whose true identity has not be ascertained as at the time of going to press was a regular visitor who enjoyed some of the “extra-curricular facilities”. It was gathered that the deceased was not a guest as at the time he died, but may have been on his usual “games” within the hotel premises.
When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer, Joy Elemoko requested the newspaper to give her more time as the news of the incident was still sketchy within the State Police Command.
