Imo Stakeholder Forum Insists On Owerri Zone For 2015 Guber .FRSC, Boss Chukwu Unfolds Dream For Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Fed Constituency

As activities for next general elections begin to gear up, organizers of the maiden Imo Political Summit have insisted that Owerri Zone merits the position of governor come 2015.
Championing the respect for “Imo Charter of Equity” for 2015 election, is a prominent politician and king pin of the Imo Stakeholders Forum, that organized last year’s political summit, at All Seasons Hotel, Owerri, Chief Elvis Agukwe.
Chief Agukwe disclosed that the Imo Stakeholders Forum is not resting on its oars over the issue of ensuring that a governor of Owerri zone extraction emerges in 2015, adding that the forum is embarking on sensitization of Imolites especially those in Diaspora who came back for Christmas and New Year holidays, on the need to canvas for the Owerri zone-for-governor-project.
“We want to use this opportunity to reiterate our earlier stand during the recently held political summit where it was agreed that 2015 is the turn of Owerri zone to produce governor for the state. we want to re-publish the communiqué arising from the resolution so that Imolites residing outside the state will be informed about the decision of Imo stakeholders on who becomes the next governor of Imo state”, Agukwe said.
According to the former commissioner for Information and PDP chieftain from Orlu LGA, all political parties have been requested to adopt the Imo Charter of Equity by picking their governorship candidates from Owerri senatorial zone of the state.
“The spirit of the Imo political summit as canvassed by the Imo Stakeholders Forum is for all parties to choose their guber candidates from the zone in 2015 election, to ensure equity and fairness in our polity” Agukwe added.
