In Owerri North, preparations for who takes over as the next honourable member of the Imo State House of Assembly seat are in top gear.
A P.D.P stalwart in the Area, Hon Pastor Chijioke Ude has already concluded consultations with Owerri North leaders and most stakeholders to declare for the House of Assembly position. Hon Ude who hails from Naze in Owerri North L.G.A Imo State stated that PDP is the only party that will take Nde Igbo to the main stream of Nigerian politics. According to him, after due consultation, he has decided to vie on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). The pastor In-charge of light House Zone of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), former councilor stressed that he will run an open door policy and operate a fully staffed constituency office-Hon Ude stressed that if elected into office he would concentrate on programmes that will transform and reposition Owerri North through concise reawakening, job creation, youths empowerment and skill acquisition.
