Leaders and members of the People’s Democratic Party PDP in Nwangele Local Government Area over the weekend turned-out en-mass to embrace one of their own and son of the soil, Chief Jeff Uju who made his intension known to the people of Nwangele, to via for Nwangele State House of Assembly on the PDP platform ahead of the general elections in 2015.
The declaration ceremony which was held at the residence of the Nwangele party Chairman in Abajah, witnessed the endorsement by Nze, Traditional rulers and people of Nwangele on Chief Jeff Uju as they emphatically stressed that he is far qualified to via for the senatorial or governorship position of Imo state.
Chief Jeff Uju who re-affirmed his commitment toward impacting on the lives of his people stressed his intension on making effective and efficient laws that will improve the standard of Nwangele people and imolites as he promised to extend his existing contributions of improved health care system to Nwangele and Imo state.
He assured that his reign when elected to represent Nwangele State House of Assembly in 2015, will be a replica of the greatest democrat in the world from the United state of America, President Barrack Obama, as he disclosed that he had spent over half of his entire life under their democratized system, and had employed over 100 employees both at home and abroad, he reassured that his representation will positively change the society but however re-iterated commitment to support whosoever emerges victor on the Nwangele House of Assembly race come 2015.
Nwangele PDP chapter Chairman, Chief Justin Amadi who condemned the representation current Honourable member representing Nwangele at the state House Ugonna Ozurigbo, noted that he was dwelling on past glory, and expressed happiness for the declaration ceremony of Chief Jeff Uju, describing him as a great achiever and charged him to continue in his good works when he eventually wins the ticket through the primaries, he assured a level playing ground for all qualifies aspirants admonishing them to trade softly.
In their separate remarks, Nze Anyanjo, Chief Gibson Chigbu and Chief Chris Onwuzurike enumerated Chief Jeff Uju’s Philanthropic achievements which the people of Abba have continued to enjoy adding that his wealth of experience will bring succor to the people of Nwangele and Imo state when elected.
